Welcome to Crowe's Nest Media! We're excited you're taking a moment to learn more about our desire to glorify the Lord through the creation of God-honoring, family-encouraging videos.

We strive to present the material in such a way that siblings honor one another and their parents.  Also, whenever possible, we enjoy giving children the opportunity to enjoy multi-generational relationships, learning from the wisdom of those who have traveled longer roads.

We pray this focus will serve to be a source of blessing and encouragement to your family.

Our Journey

As we look back, we can clearly see how the Lord has directed us toward this path.  One of the most rewarding aspects is that He has used friends and family to bless us along the way. 

From His provision of a MacBook Pro computer (an anonymous gift from friends at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Canton, Ga.) and a high definition video camera (a gift from sweet friends of ours from Georgia), to the expert technical help we received from our local Apple Store, the Lord has literally "given" us the tools needed to create DVDs that will, prayerfully, honor him.

Continually, the Lord amazes us at His faithfulness.  He provides and then provides again.  He has been so very good to our family along this wonderful journey.

Why Nature?

One of our greatest joys is that of exploring God's magnificent creation!  And, how wonderful it is that you need step no further than your own "backyard" to discover His mighty displays.

From birds to butterflies, insects, trees and plants, there's an entire world of discovery right in your own backyard!

Our hope is to encourage children to look all around them and see the mighty Hand of our Creator.

A Family Endeavor

Crowe's Nest Media is a true family endeavor.  Interestingly, the Lord set us on this path after attending the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival in January 2009 where we saw many family, produced, God-honoring films.

Realizing that each of our family members possess different talents and areas of interest, we divide up our responsibilities.  While I handle the lighting and the equipment, Kellie, my wife, does a majority of the shooting and editing while the boys are responsible for the animation. The boys also assist with sound and color correction.

Along the way, we often run into many issues that stop us in our tracks.  If it were not for the exceptional  help of individuals like Frank Falotico of the Apple Store, South Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I'm sure our journey would have been much, much more difficult. Frank, and all of the team at the store, prove to be an invaluable resource.

Another exceptional resource is Franklin Springs Family Media.  Not only are we encouraged by the quality of their family-honoring productions, they are super in offering us insights regarding the workflow of video production.  We highly recommend the work of  Franklin Springs Family Media.  And, we always welcome the assistance and encouragement of Moore Family Films.
